Error description

  • DESCRIPTION:
BDI Process consumes lots of CPU cycles even though its not
    doing any work.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1) Ensure the BDI Service is running and note the port number
it is listening on (by default 1608). This is specified in the
    v8.ini file.
    2) Download the nmap security scanner software for your OS from
    the following link: https://nmap.org/
    3) Follow the instructions on the above site to install it.
    4) Launch nmap using the following parameters to initiate the
security scanning on the port specified:
    sudo nmap -v -A -sS localhost -p 1608
Note the command above is for a Mac OS. Consult the website
above for instructions on how to run it on Windows.
    RESULTS:
BDI Service ignores commands but BDI process consumes 100% CPU
    usage until it is restarted.
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
BDI Service ignores socket connection commands from the
    security scanning software.
    PRODUCT VERSION:
    Aviation 7.6.6.0
