Error description

  • This APAR includes fixes to various defects identified in CICS
    Explorer V5.4.0.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • - When exporting views on Mac, you are only able to overwrite
    existing files.  The option to create a new file does not exist.
    - When editing Event Bindings on Mac, the INVOKE SERVICE URI and
    URIMAP radio buttons did not mark the editor as dirty.
    - Errors while exporting a bundle to zFS could result in silent
    failure.
    - CICS Explorer policy definition editor does not support
    certain policy system rules.
    

Problem conclusion

  • - When exporting views on Mac, you are now able to create new
    files.
    - When editing Event Bindings on Mac, the INVOKE SERVICE URI and
    URIMAP radio buttons now mark the editor as dirty.
    - Errors while exporting a bundle to zFS no longer result in
    silent failure.
    - Changes have been made to the Policy Definition editor in
    conjunction with CICS APAR PI92806 to support the following new
    Policy system rules: Bundle available status, Bundle enable
    status, IPIC connection status , MRO connection status and
    Program enable status.
    This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.11 of the CICS
    Explorer.
