Problem summary

• The call java.net.InetAddress.getlocalHost() resulted in
  java.net.UnknownHostException on ZOS only, when getnameinfo
  system call fails and rests the hostname to null which  later
  results in UnknownHostException.
  

Problem conclusion

• On platforms like AIX, Linux and z/OS, reverse lookup is not
  required while doing the getLocalHost. The JDK has been updated
  to remove the reverse lookup. The issue is fixed in openJDK
  through the bug ids 8169865 and 8201369.
