  • The following error may be seen:
0516-1197 /usr/sbin/mkvg: The -s parameter for Size must be a
power of 2 between 1 and 1024.
0516-862 /usr/sbin/mkvg: Unable to create Volume Group datavg.
Restore of Volume Group canceled.

Problem summary


    

  • The following error may be seen:
0516-1197 /usr/sbin/mkvg: The -s parameter for Size must be a

0516-862 /usr/sbin/mkvg: Unable to create Volume Group datavg.
Restore of Volume Group canceled.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • If mkvg or mklv fails, try again without PP SIZE and TFACTOR.
Only print the error if both fail.
