Error description

  • Maximo Work center search can't find Cyrillic chars
    When searching in Maximo work centers (for example Asset in the
    Self Service app) search can't find IDs and Descriptions with
    Cyrillic symbols.

    Reproduced in TPAE 7609 by L2
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Log in to maximo with maxadmin
    2. Go to asset application
    3. Create new asset : Enter some Cyrillic  entry on the asset
    field and in the description field save
    4. Open a new tab and paste:
      http://mxsystems14.canlab.ibm.com/maximo-x/#/selfservice
    5. Go to Manage Service request
    6.  Submit a new request
    7. Choose any , ex Restrooms
    8. Describe the issue, choose any
    9. Skpe new steps till the Asset request "Define the asset "
    --> Enter the Cyrillic character
    PROBLEM: Work center will display "No results were found"
