Error description
A user has a custom plug-in which expects to set the truststore and keystore system properties. The https connection defaults may get overwritten when a host connection is made.
Local fix
Problem summary
A custom-written CICS Explorer plug-in establishes its own https connection to a back end server with a certificate which is not known to the CICS Explorer or any of the CICS Tools plug-ins. When connecting with a DA connection that has the SSL flag set, the DA plug-in invokes a CICS Explorer method that sets the HTTPS default SSL socket factory and hostname verifier with defaults supplied by CICS Explorer.
Problem conclusion
This method has been updated so that the SSL socket factory and hostname verifier are set for the specific connection rather than using the default. . This fix will be made available in Version 5.3.0.5 of the CICS Deployment Assistant plug-in for CICS Explorer. .
