IJ03667: CLEARANCE REQUEST ERROR MESSAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In Maximo Nuclear 7.6.1  Work Order Tracking (Nuc), when trying
  to change the Clearance Request status without choosing a new
  status, Maximo displays an unfriendly error message.
  
  STEPS TO REPLICATE:
  1) Go to Work Order Tracking (Nuc)
  2) Create a new record
  3) Check the box "Clearance Protection Required"
  4) Go to Clearance tab, then click on Requests sub tab
  5) Click New Row
  6) Save
  7) Click on Clearance Request change status
  8) Click OK without setting the status value
  9) This unfriendly error message will appear:
  "BMXAA0016E - The status null is unknown. The application is
  trying to convert a status value to the internal value and does
  not find a value. Status values are usually configured as a
  synonym of an internal value that is used for processing. The
  synoym value is a user friendly value that is configured by the
  customer and is used for display purposes. Evaluate the logs
  and determines why there is a status value on a record that is
  not a synonym."
  
  Note: In other application (e.g. Work Order), they get the
  following
  error:
  "BMXAA4195E - A value is required for the New Status field on
  the WOCHANGESTATUS object."
