Error description

  * USERS AFFECTED:
  * Systems running VIOS 2.2.6.x
  * with pool.basic.rte below the 6.1.9.315 level.
    **************************************************************
  * ERROR DESCRIPTION:
  * After updating all nodes in a VIOS SSP cluster to VIOS 2.2.6,
  * the cluster upgrade may not complete.  The node upgrade
  * status of all nodes will continue to report UP_LEVEL,
  * and never report ON_LEVEL.
  *
  * There is a defect that causes the cluster upgrade to fail in
  * certain circumstances.  This only occurs if the VIOS SSP was
  * originally installed to VIOS 2.2.3 or earlier, then
  * was updated to 2.2.4 or 2.2.5, and finally was updated to
  * VIOS 2.2.6.
  *
  * To resolve the situation, this fix should be deployed to all
  * nodes in the VIOS SSP cluster.  After all nodes have been
  * rebooted to activate the fix, the cluster upgrade will
  * succeed, and node upgrade status will show ON_LEVEL.
    **************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:
  * Install APAR IJ02674.
  * Prior to fix availability, an interim fix is available from
  * either

  * Installation of the ifix requires a reboot.

Problem conclusion

• dinode version may not be incremented in sync with metaroot
  version if there is no conversion required. Solution is to
  detect this case and handle it.
