Error description

  • Environment:      630 FP5 through 630 FP7
    The scripting feature automatically generates a .ref file which
    contains information for the script to run. Currently the OS
    Agent defaults the location for this file to the
    $CANDLEHOME/<interp>/<pc>/bin directory. If this directory is
    read-only then the file cannot be generated and the script
    cannot be run. The agent does not allow the location to be
    changed.

    Install Actions

    In order for this APAR to be properly implemented in your
    environment, a new environment variables has been added:
    FCP_REF_FILE_PATH. To specify a different location for the .ref
    file, set value to a valid path that has read-write authority,
    for example:
       K<XX>_FCP_REF_FILE_PATH=/opt/IBM/ITM/logs

    where <XX> is:
       LZ = Linux OS Agent
       UX = UNIX OS Agent
       NT = Windows OS Agetn

    The default if the environment variable is not set, is to
    continue to use the location $CANDLEHOME/<interp>/<pc>/bin.

    The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
    packages:

      | interim fix | 6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM_LINUX-IF0001
