Error description
- Open a Maximo 7.6.0.7 or 7.6.0.8 environment - In Work Order Tracking, filter records with status=COMP and then add a new query COMP_WOS with that criteria and save the query. - In Database Configuration, open the WORKORDER object. - In Relationships tab, it has the existing Relationship ASSIGNMENT with Child object ASSIGNMENT, Where Clause (wonum=:wonum and siteid=:siteid). - In Object Structures, open the REP_WORKORDER record. - Add a new Source Object for ASSIGNMENT object, WORKORDER parent object and in Relationship field, add that existing Relationship ASSIGNMENT, Reporting Description: Assignments, Cardinality SINGLE (not MULTIPLE!) and save. - In the Report Administration application, in the 'Report Object Structure Security' option, check that the MAXADMIN group is given access to this ROS. - in Start Center, add a new Result Set portlet using 'Change Layout'. - In the Result Set that was created on the Start Center, do Edit and add fields from the WORKORDER table (WONUM, STATUS, ASSET) and also ASSIGNMENT.LABORCODE using the ROS. - On the Chart Options tab, enter Type= BAR and Display By= ASSET and save. - Go back to Start Center and the relevant Result Set. The Chart View columns match the count of WOs by individual Asset value accurately. - It is ordering the records by the attribute specified in the Display By field correctly. - Edit the Result Set portlet, go to Chart Options tab and keep Type= BAR and change to Display By= ASSIGNMENT.LABORCODE this time and save. - Go to Start Center and the Result Set. In my case, only one WO in the Result Set has a value (Labor SMITH) specified for the Assignments-Labor column. - But if you click on Chart View, it displays one column for SMITH (normal), one column for Undefined (normal though the record count is incorrect: 4 instead of 6) but it also displays two more columns without any description with quantity=1 each (this is not normal). - It is not ordering the records by the attribute specified in the Display By field correctly.
