Error description

  • You have a CICS System Definition ( CSYSDEF ) defined to CPSM
and are attempting to use the CICS Explorer to update the HOST
field in that resource. You find that the field is read-only
and you are unable to make changes.

Local fix

  • Use the CPSM WUI interface

Problem summary

  • When the host field in a CSYSDEF is double clicked the field is
not editable.

Problem conclusion

  • The CPSM basetable has been updated and the code model
regenerated and the host field in a CSYSDEF is now editable.
.
This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.3 of the CICS
Explorer.
