Error description

  • How do I ensure we have all the maintenance required for a
successful Db2 z/OS migration?
(Step 1).Order (download) and run SMP/E RECEIVE the latest
FIXCAT HOLDATA. The FIXCAT HOLDATA can be downloaded from
either:
    a) the Two Year Enhanced HOLDDATA.
    http://service.software.ibm.com/holdata/390holddata.html
    b) order from ShopzSeries.
(Step 2).Run the SMP/E MISSINGFIXCAT REPORT to identify the
missing PTFs that need to applied with the following FIXCAT
keywords:
For V11:
  IBM.MIGRATE-FALLBACK.DB2.V11
  IBM.COEXISTENCE.DB2.SYSPLEXDATASHARING
.
For V12:
 IBM.MIGRATE-FALLBACK.DB2.V12
 IBM.COEXISTENCE.DB2.SYSPLEXDATASHARING
For other IBM products that need to run with DB2 for z/OS V11 or
V12, add the following FIXCAT:
   IBM.TARGETSYSTEM-REQUIREDSERVICE.DB2.V11
 IBM.TARGETSYSTEM-REQUIREDSERVICE.DB2.V12
