Error description

• Message IEA303W ABEND 878 REASON 00000004 DURING INITIALIZATION
  UNDER RIM IEAVNPC2 received at IPL when IPLing z/OS R1.x or
  OS/390 R2.10 when ARCHLEVEL=2 specified to IPL in z/architecture
  64-bit mode.  This can result even though IPL is successful when
  ARCHLEVEL=1 is specified to IPL OS/390 R2.10 in ESA 31-bit mode
  and no other changes have been made.

  When running in z/architecture mode there has been a change to
  the layout of storage at IPL time due to the elimination of
  expanded storage.   The amount of ESQA previously specified may
  need to be increased when running in z/architecture mode,
  otherwise ESQA shortages may be experienced during IPL.
                                                                 .
  If the cause of the wait040 is solely because of the change in
  storage layout which results from the elimination of ESTOR, it
  can be resolved by increasing the amount of ESQA specified in
  the SQA= parm of the IEASYSxx member of parmlib.
                                                                 .
  If the WAIT040 does not occur on your first z/architecture IPL,
  you may need to look at other reasons for the WAIT state.   It
  could be that you have not specified enough INITIAL ESQA.  For
  more information on changes that affect INITIAL ESQA please see
