Error description

  • Serverpac is currently shipping ZOS/V1R2 with the recommended
default ILMMODE=NONE and ILMLIB=SYS1.ILMLIBZ2 within
SYS1.PARMLIB(IEASYS00) member.  INIT and Tuning reference
has no mention of these keywords in the IEASYSxx parmlib member.
ILM documentation will be provided when the function is
available.
  Currently ILMMODE=NONE is the only supported mode for the IBM
licence manager and this must be specified unconditionally.
Also, because of this, ILMLIB is not actually used at this time.
   Please refer to the ILM web site for further info on the IBM
Licence Manager.

Notes for ServerPac customers.
(1)z/OS R2 ServerPac ships IEASYSLM member which contains the
following definition.
ILMMODE=(FIRSTIPL,NORMAL)     SET ILMMODE
But, it should not be used unless the ILM fucntion available.
(2)Also, the z/OS R2 ServerPac ships the following definition in
COMMND00 member.
COM='S ILMTSRVR'
If customer fails to delete the statement, this kind of error
condition might be seen even though the ILMMODE=NONE is
specified.

Section 5, Item 1.
If apar fix for OW56271 is applied then the default
value has been changed to ILMMODE=NONE
