Error description

  • Received Rsn0D070200 out of BPXNSMSS indicating
JRPswKeyNotValid - The PSW key of the caller is not a valid key.
A service was requested that requires the invoker to be
in the same key that the USS/OMVS process was dubbed under.
A single process was running in the address space.
The TCB encountering the 0d070200 error was running a
C program, attached from an assembler program. The thread
was going through LE initialization which does an
mvssigsetup. The thread was running in key 8 not matching
the key at dub time as pointed to by the OAPB + 4E.
L1/L2 see the scratch pad for further information.

Local fix

  • The assembler program should use the setdubdefault assembler
callable service so that new subtasks are dubbed as
separate processes.
