Error description

  • PTF UQ52040 has introduced new and modified fields, which
were added to the Accounting report shown in the DB2 PM
Batch User's Guide of Version 7.

In the Class 3 Suspensions block shown on page 64 and on
page 188, the field GLOBAL CONT. was renamed to GLOBAL
    CONTENTION.
The description of this field was modified on page 191 as
    follows:

    GLOBAL CONTENTION
The time spent waiting due to global lock contention in a
data sharing environment, and the number of suspensions
caused by global lock contention. This value is calculated
only if accounting class 3 is active and DB2 is a member of
    a data sharing group.
The Accounting Group Buffer Pool block shown on page 204
    now looks as follows:

The descriptions of the new fields were added on page 205,
following the description of the ASYNCH SEC-GBP REQ field
(note that the dot after REQ was removed):

    PG P-LOCK LOCK REQ
The number of all page P-lock lock requests.

    SPACE MAP PAGES
The number of page P-lock lock requests for space map pages.

    DATA PAGES
The number of page P-lock lock requests for data pages.
