  This Informational Apar is used to contain information
  relating to the IBM Network Station and the IBM Network
  Station Manager product when used with the WinCenter
  platform ( WinCenterPro contains WinCenter and WinFrame ).
  
  The IBM Network Station Manager software product
  installs and runs on an PC Server running WinCenterPro
  version 3.x . The NSM (Network Station Manager) product
  facilitates the connection and management of IBM Network
  Stations to the WinFrame Server.
  NOTE: On the WinFrame Server, and within the RETAIN system,
  the product component id for NSM (Network Station
  Manager) is:   5639B6200
  
  This informational apar will be updated on a regular
  basis therefore we suggest you check the contents

  Servicepacks applied to the Network Station common code
  (boot prom, java, 5250 session,...etc...) and/or
  the Network Station Manager product may contain
  enhancements to the products.  Documentation of these
  changes  will be placed in the publications (user manuals)
  at the next revision, as applicable.  However, the on-line
  help text will typically contain instructions on the use
  of the new features.  To access the on-line help text
  from a Network Station, click on one of the HELP
  buttons.  A HELP button is found within each application
  (window).  The on-line help text is context-sensitive.

  Fixes and enhancements to the Network Station Manager
  and its components/applications are delivered by
  Servicepacks.   Servicepacks can be downloaded from
  the NetworkStation website (go to the Downloads link).
  
  As of January 29, Servicepack 2 for the WinCenter NSM
  can be downloaded from the following site:

  Servicepack 2 contains many enhancements including support
  for TokenRing Series 1000 model Network Stations, JAVA
  JVM version 1.1.2, and boot prom version 2.9.7 .
  
  * Be sure to download & read the associated README file
    which contains crucial requirements, install steps,
    and known limitations.  The NSM and Servicepack 2
    Readme files can be found at the same download location

  >>> VIDEO RESOLUTION ON THE SERVER
  
  Network Station Manager, NSM, (and the relating java jdk)
  need 800x600x256 resolution/color to function properly.
  Many of our new PC Servers are shipped with a video card
  that is limited to 800x600x16 resolution/color.
  In these situations, customers must upgrade the video
  card capabilities in order to access the Network Station NSM.
  The customer will need 1 megabyte of video memory and
  the display settings (within NT or WinCenter) must be
  set to 800 x 600 (this is need to display the IBM TCP/IP
  configuration utility).
  Situation relates to PC Servers 704 & 7000 with NSM releases
  2 or 2.5 . Also the java JDK requires 256 colors and the
  dhcp config requires 800x600 resolution (else the screen
  is truncated).
