Error description

  • This APAR contains common problems encountered with the CDCU.
1) ABEND0C4 when trying to display the CDCU main menu.
   Additional symptoms:
   IRX0250E SYSTEM ABEND CODE 0C4, REASON CODE 00000004.
   IRX0255E ABEND IN HOST COMMAND DCZDUENQ OR ADDRESS ENVIRONMEN
            ROUTINE LINK.

   +++ RC(-196) +++  and other associated return codes

Local fix

  • 1) CDCU load modules cannot be in an authorized library.  They
   should be placed in DCZDLOD library or some other dataset
   that is concatenated to ISPF file ISPLLIB.  Please refer to
   the installation instructions in the program directory.
