Error description

  • 1. Abend0c4 in IEEMB848+x'DA' scanning through DSABs running
past the end of the chain.  The number of DSABs was passed
   from IEFDB4F9, which determined the number from the TCT
   Lookup Table.  The TCT Lookup Table contained 9 duplicate
   entries that were not part of the free or allocated TIOT
   entries.  The problem was an OEM incorrectly modified the
   TCT Lookup Table causing the corruption.
2. Abend0C4 in IEEMB848+x'F6'.  There were no duplicate TCTIOT
   (TCTTIOT) I/O Lookup Table entries, but the count of Lookup
   Table entries was not equal to the DSAB count.
Additional Symptoms:
1. OEM issued the following message prior to the abend:
   RECOVERY TERMINATED: DATASET EXISTS ON MAX VOLUMES
   Following this message was abend symptom dump message for
   abendb37-4 (rc4)
2. OEM issued a message indicating a volume switch was being
   performed.
