Error description

  • Customer issued a delete vvr without specifying the catalog
parameter.  In addition, the catalog did not exist.
SC26-4562-2, DFP33 Access Method Services for the Integrated
Catalog Facility, under the DELETE VVR parameter, does not
specify that the catalog parameter is required and the catalog
must exist.  The DFP31 Access Method Services manual does state
the catalog parameter is required for a DELETE VVR.
Specifying Delete VVR without the catalog parameter and/or
if the catalog does not exist, generates msgidc3009i vsam
catalog rc90 rsn30 igg0clfp.
