Error description

• This is information on how to take traces of CDIM NetView/FTP,
  APLs. (CDIM refers to component 569511300 ).
  Procedure for taking traces of NetView/FTP APL ,
  for a CDIM FTP distribution.
  There are two aspects to the traces.
  
  1) NetView/FTP traces to show the APL.
       The FTP serves (sending and receiving) should be
       re-started with initialisation parameter ;
  
       TRC='-------H--'
  
       added to the initialisation parameters.
  
  2) CDIM FTP exit traces :
       To enable GTRACE macro tracing from within the exits
       the CDIM exit load modules must be zapped as follows :

       To activate the CDIM exit trace for a given change
       distribution add the additional parameter "GTRACE=Y"
       to the PPXINFO= parameter on the CDIM generated FTP
       requests, example :
  
     PPXINFO='EX=UTSFTPN0 GROUP=(chgid,1,0) RNODE=nodeid GTRACE=Y'
  
       Add "GTRACE=Y" to each FTP request generated by CDIM.
       (It is recomended this is done on a small change which
       contains only one change dataset. In this instance CDIM
       would generate two FTP requests - one for the change
       dataset and one for the CDIM change control file.)
       Before the file transfer request is initiated, GTF
       traces must be started for USR traces.
       (The CDIM exits use GTRACE macros with ID=701).
       When the file transfer completes stop GTF, and print
       the GTF USER traces (if other GTF traces were in effect
       print just the ID=701 traces).  Stop the FTP servers
       and print the server logs.
