  • MSGDLZ005I RC081C (OUT OF SPACE) OR OTHER UNPREDICTABLE RESULTS
OCCUR WHEN RUNNING ONLINE BACKOUT TO ANY DL/I DATA BASE. ONLINE
BACKOUT IS INVOKED AT TRANSACTION ABEND TIME BY DFHDBP2$, AS
WELL AS DURING EMERGENCY RESTART BY DFHTBP2$ (CICS PHASES).
DL/I MODULE DLZRDBC0 IS INCLUDED IN THE DL/I BACKOUT PHASE OF
DLZBACK0, AS WELL AS IN THE CICS BACKOUT PHASES OF DFHDBP2$ AND
DFHTBP2$.  THIS FAILURE OCCURS IF DLZRDBC0 APAR PP17331 IS
INCLUDED IN THE CICS BACKOUT PHASES, BUT NOT IN THE DL/I
BACKOUT PHASE.  CICS GENERATION PTF UP70746 INCLUDES DLZRDBC0
AT THE PP17331 LEVEL.  ANY PTF WHICH INCLUDES UP70746 REQUIRES
PP17331 TO BE INSTALLED TO THE DL/I COMPONENT.  TO DETERMINE
IF A CICS PTF INCLUDES UP70746, YOU MUST EXAMINE THE COVER
LETTER:  IF THE CICS PTF IS A GENERATION PTF (H38), THEN CHECK
IF IT SUPERCEEDS, COREQ'S OR PREREQ'S UP70746.  IF THE CICS
PTF IS A PRODUCTION PTF (I38, A46 OR A47), THEN CHECK THE
COMMENTS SECTION UNDER 'THE FOLLOWING LIST OF PTFS WERE USED
TO BUILD THIS PRODUCTION PTF', FOLLOWED BY UP70746 IN THE LIST.
CURRENTLY UP70746 IS SUPERCEEDED BY UP72665, SO USE THE SAME
PROCEDURE TO SEE IF THE CICS PTF YOU ARE INSTALLING, INCLUDES
UP72665 AS WELL AS UP70746.  THE NEXT SUPERCEEDING PTF, WHEN IT
GETS GENERATED, SHOULD HAVE THE CORRECT INFORMATION IN THE PTF
COVER LETTER, INSTRUCTING YOU TO INSTALL PP17331.  SEE PP54090,
FOR THE ORIGINAL APAR DESCRIPTION, IF MORE DETAILS ARE NEEDED.
NOTE: THIS APPLIES TO ALL DL/I RH57 (R170) BASE DLIB USERS,
