APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When Tivoli Storage Manager API 64bit client,
  TIVsm-API64.x86_64.rpm, is uninstalled it will not remove
  /usr/lib64/libgpfs.so
  /usr/lib64/libdmapi.so
  links
  
  This will happen if there are no 32bit API versions of
  /usr/lib/libgpfs.so
  /usr/lib/libdmapi.so
  links which are created by the 32bit API being installed.
  
  Currently the uninstall process checks for the 32bit versions
  first, and if they are not
  not existing, will not check for the 64bit versions.

  Tivoli Storage Manager client version 6.x and 7.1.x
  on Linux platform

• The problem has been fixed so that it no longer occurs.
  

Temporary fix

• A fix for this problem is currently targeted for interim fix
