the object and define with the new values

    2. Give more than one change request along with the user change.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users of MQ pub-sub who want to alter subscriptions

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Altering the subscription user for a subscription object does
not persist over queue manager restart. After an alter request
completes successfully the display of the subscription shows the
new changed value for the user however after a restart of the
queue manager the display shows the old user value for the
    subscription.

Problem conclusion

  • This problem is fixed by ensuring that the latest data for the
subscription user is stored after an alter request to a
subscription object so that the new value persists over queue
    manager restart.
