APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Tivoli Storage Manager client on AIX fails with
  "ANS9020E Could not establish a session with a TSM server or
  client agent.  The TSM return code is -50. "
  and
  "ANS1017E Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure"
  messages when COMMMETHOD V6TCPIP is used and zone identifier is
  specified in TCPSERVERADDRESS option like TCPSERVERADDRESS
  fe80::15%2
  or  TCPSERVERADDRESS fe80::15%eth0.
  AIX supports only numeric TCP/IPv6 zone indentifier. Non-numeric
  zone identifiers like "fe80::15%eth0" are not supported by AIX.
  Due to this limitation, this APAR will address the numeric
  TCP/IPv6 zone identifier issue of the Tivoli Storage Manager
  client only.
