APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Compression service with decompress option results in few zero
    byte files.
    
    While decompressing a file using the Compression Service
    , few zero byte files are found.
    
    The issue is seen when using a compressed file containing
    many more (around 60) to be descompressed into a folder.
    
    Test results with a file having 60 files showed around 8 zero
    byte files extracted into the folder.
    
    When tested with few (5-6) files the issue is not seen.
    
    Also occasionally transactions stay open in the
    database even the busines process has finished.
