Error description

  • A queue manager writes FDC records with probes RM220005,
ZX005025, ZX086131 and ZX085131 after the user removes a Full
Repository queue manager from a cluster, and on the local
queue manager the user then alters the manually-defined
CLUSSDR channel to remove it from the cluster, then adds it back
in again without first stopping the CLUSSDR channel.

The Partial Repository queue manager's cluster repository
manager process (amqrrmfa) ends. Unless avoiding action is
taken, then after 5 days the queue manager ends.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users who alter a Full Repository to remove it from a cluster,
and then on another queue manager alter its manual CLUSSDR
channel to remove it from the cluster and, without first
stopping the channel, re-add it to a cluster (the same one or
    a different one).

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
When the user makes the configuration changes that are described
here, the queue manager does not complete its internal state
changes until the channel is stopped. If the channel is
stopped after removing the CLUSSDR from the cluster, the problem
    does not occur.

The presence of incorrect internal state leads to the observed
    symptoms.

Problem conclusion

  • The WebSphere MQ product code has been corrected to ensure
that the required internal state changes are all correctly
completed, even if the CLUSSDR channel is running at the time.
