APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There is a race condition in the Tivoli Storage Manager Client
  where several producer threads attempt to process an extensive
    mount list. This occurs when the client is processing more
    than one file system simultaneously and there are several
    NetApp volumes. The issue should not occur while backing up a
    single file system.
  
    This issue is not specific to NetApp VFilers. It may occur on
    any NetApp filer.

    When the race condition is encountered the following messages
    are seen in the dsmerror.log
    ANS3417W /nas-backup/vol/cit_dba_share: A system call
      psCollectMountTableInfo failed with code 6213 - NFS
      mount point for entity not found.
    ANS5250E An unexpected error was encountered.
      TSM function name : nsGetNasVolumeInfo():
      TSM function      : dmMapNfsVolume() failed to map remote
         volume for path: </nas-backup/vol/cit_dba_share>.
     TSM return code   : 6213
     TSM file          : snapcommon.cpp (408)
  Initial Impact: Low

Local fix

• Add the following option to the dsm.opt file as a
    workaround:
      TESTFLAG MAXPRODUCERS:1
