Error description
In the event where one of the IBM Systems Director Platform Agent processes, like wmicimsv crashes, the Platform Agent Watchdog service may also crash due to some unhandled exception. Local fix
Users can manually restart the watchdog service by executing the follow command: net start ibmpawatchdog
Problem summary
When one of the IBM Systems Director Platform Agent processes, like wmicimsv crashes, the Platform Agent watchdog service may also crash due to some unhandled exception. This APAR fixes the problem and ensures that the internal exception in Platform Agent Watchdog is properly handled, preventing subsequent crashes of the Watchdog process.
