APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The BACKUP VM command might crash due to a timing error when
  multiple VM guests are processed at the same time using
  vmmaxparallel > 1.
  
  The following errors will be seen :
  
  1.) In the client dsmerror.log :
  
  ANS9020E Could not establish a session with a TSM server or
           client agent.  The TSM return code is -1.
  ANS1228E Sending of object <vmname> failed
  
  2.) In the server actlog :
  
  ANE4174E (Session: xxxx, Node: DC1) Full VM backup of VMware
           Virtual Machine <vmname> failed with RC=65535
           mode=Incremental Forever - Incremental,
           target node name='DC1', data mover node name='DM1'

Local fix

• Use vmmaxparallel=1 in the option file of the datamover node.
  If this option makes the backup session running for too long,
  consider adding multiple datamover nodes to run the backups in
  parallel.
