Error description
At the end of a failed backup operation, the tablespace flags for tablespaces are marked as unmodified. If no data is written to the tablespace between the failed backup operation and the next incremental backup attempt, then the backup will not include any data from the given tablespaces within the backup image. A restore operation using this incremental backup image results in a corrupt database.
Local fix
Ensure a successful full backup is performed after any backup failures before attempting an incremental backup. Also, you should ensure that no failed backups occur between this incremental backup attempt and the last full backup or latest release upgrade.
