IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) client 6.3.2.x interim fix downloads - EOL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Installed TDP for VM and BA 6.3, this env can work correctly
  without any issue. Currently, customer want to upgrade BA to
  V6.4. During upgrade, the server will be recycle without any
  warning message.
  
  Steps:
  
  1. Install TDP V6.3 for VM. The server will be recycled as
  required.
  2. Install BA 6.3.
  3. Run installer for BA V6.4. The server will be recycled during
  installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010  x86
  
  Or
  
  1. Install TDP V6.3 for VM. The server will be recycled as
  required.
  2. Run installer for BA V6.4. Two components of  Microsoft
  Visual C++ 2010  x86 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010  x64 will be
  installed.  The server will be recycled during installation of
  Microsoft Visual C++ 2010  x86

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During installation of the version 6.3  *
  *                      or 6.4 backup-archive client on         *
  *                      Microsoft Windows, the system might     *
  *                      reboot without notice. This can occur   *
  *                      following the install of the Visual     *
  *                      C++ run-time libraries, but before the  *
  *                      actual backup-archive client software   *
  *                      is installed.                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      In the version 7.1.0 client, the        *
  *                      automatic reboot does not occur, but    *
  *                      neither is it logged if a reboot is     *
  *                      required.                               *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply fixing level when needed. This         *
  *                 problem is an install issue only. This       *
  *                 problem is currently projected to be fixed   *
  *                 in levels  6.4.2.0 and 7.1.1.0. Note         *
  *                 that until the fixing levels are available,  *
  *                 this information is subject to change at     *
  *                 the discretion of IBM.                       *

Problem conclusion

• The installer has been modified so that the system will not be
  automatically rebooted if the Visual C++ run-time library
  install requires a reboot. Instead, if a post-install reboot is
  needed, the backup-archive client installation will notify users
  of a reboot request at the conclusion of the installation
  process.
  

Temporary fix

• 6.3.2.4 interim fix on Windows
