• Closed as program error.

Error description

• NetApp snapdiff incremental backup fails.
  The following message will be reported in the  dsmerror.log:
  ANS4089W File server file-server-name has been upgraded to Data
  ONTAP version '8.0.2'. Perform a full incremental backup by
  specifying option createnewbase=migrate as soon as possible.
  
  This will happen if the original base snapshot was created by a
  32-bit V6.2 TSM client and a new snapdiff backup is performed by
  a 64-bit V6.4 client..  The V6.4 client needs to be corrected to
  allow it to read the base snapshout of older versions.

  set up to collect the core, there will also be a core file.

• Use either createnewbase=yes or createnewbase=migrate to work
  around this problem.
