IC85412: INVALID ATTEMPT TO END BACKUP MODE FOR TEMP TABLESPACES CAUSES "ORA-03217: INVALID OPTION FOR ALTER OF TEMPORARY TABLESPACE"

Error description

• Per Oracle design, TEMP tablespaces are not intended for backup.
  Therefore they can not be set into backup mode
  
  Hence Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Oracle
  does exclude any TEMP tablespaces when setting tablespaces
  into backup mode.
  
  However, the TEMP tablespaces are not being excluded from the
  action that ends the backup mode for the tablespaces, which
  then causes the following error in the Oracle alert.log:
  
  alter tablespace TEMP end backup
  ORA-3217 signalled during: alter tablespace TEMP end backup...
  
  This cosmetic error can cause false alarms by monitoring
  software.
