Error description

  • The error "crypto engine hsm2 runtime error code 6" may be seen
after some RSA actions on a Machine Type 7199 with HSM.
The crypto engine will display a runtime error and require
an appliance restart to clear.

  • Restart appliance

Problem summary

  • A small timing window issue in the HSM was closed.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is available 4.0.2.6.
