Error description

  • There are two serviceability defects addressed by this APAR:

1) A null return value for a method will not be traced.

2) The FileProcessor thread name length is impractical

Problem summary


    

  • In some situations the trace output by the IBM WebSphere MQ File
Transfer Edition agent would not provide all the information
needed by an IBM support engineer to diagnose a problem
efficiently.

Problem conclusion


    

  • The tracing code has been altered to provide additional
diagnostic information which may prove useful for an IBM support
engineer.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 7.0.4.2.
