Problem conclusion
Problem Fixed In IBM Informix spatial data type with version 8.21.xC7 The customer must set: SGMAXRESOVERLAY=1 in the server OS environment and restart the server to enable spatial to use the maximum resolution during overlay operations in se_disolve() and st_union(). Note that using the environment variable will impact performance.
