IC81129: UNABLE TO RUN THE TSM 6.3 SERVER SERVICE USING THE LOCAL SYSTEM ACCOUNT.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The version 6.3 Tivoli Storage Manager server does not support
  running the server service using the local system account.  TSM
  6.3 uses TCP/IP to communicate with DB2, previous 6.x server
  versions utilized IPC communication.   The authentication
  process when using TCP/IP does not support using the local
  system account as the logon account for the server service.
  

Local fix

• The instance owner should be used to start the server.
