Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users of WebSphere MQ Publish Subscribe with multiple
subscription identities for a durable subscription.

    Platforms affected:
All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows)
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
During the reconcile processing of durable subscribers at queue
manager start up, a subscription is created successfully using
MQSO_CREATE however, where that subscription has secondary
subscription identities, there was a failure to correctly ensure
that the MQSO_ALTER flag was correctly applied.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is resolved by ensuring that the MQSO_ALTER flag is
applied during the registration process of reconciled
subscriptions that have additional subscription identities
    (SubIdentity)
