Error description
When using IPV4 addresses on a Windows system that supports IPV6 addresses, the following MQ command does not display the expected value for IPADDR: DIS LSSTATUS(*) An example of the output is: AMQ8631: Display listener status details. LISTENER(TCP_LISTENER) STATUS(RUNNING) PID(1234) STARTDA(2011-08-05) TRPTYPE(TCP) CONTROL(QMGR) IPADDR(::) PORT(1414)

Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users who run a Windows operating system which supports IPV6 and who have provided an IPV4 value for IPADDR in a listener definition. Platforms affected: Windows **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: If the Windows operating system supports IPV6 and an IPV4 address has been given for IPADDR then WebSphere MQ attempts to convert the IPADDR IPV4 address to an IPV6 address. On the Windows platform this fails and leaves the IPV6 representation blank. When WebSphere MQ then tries to format this address for display, the operating system returns "::" which is an IPV6 shorthand for a zero address.
Problem conclusion
The code was changed so that it no longer attempts to convert a IPV4 address to an IPV6 address if the Windows operating system supports IPV6.
