IC75807: ACCESS VIOLATION IN CLIENT DURING AUTORECONNECT AFTER A QUEUE MANAGER RESTART

Error description

  • A WebSphere MQ v7.0.1 client taking advantage of the
    autoreconnect feature generates FDCs with probe id XC130031
    indicating that the client suffered an access violation. This
    happens when the queue manager is restarted.

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    During reconnection of a client to the queue manager, a pointer
    was not correctly initialized which caused the access violation
    error resulting in FDC XC130031.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code was modified to ensure that the pointer is always
    correctly initialized during client reconnection.
