Error description
HATS GENERATED PDF FILES CAN NOT BE VIEWED IN ADOBE READER V7 & V8 because of a change in JIS2004 SUPPORT. In order to use host code page 1390/1399 withJIS2004 support users will to update to Acrobat Reader 9.

Problem conclusion
Before JIS2004 support was implemented in HATS, the encoding of generated PDF file was UniJIS-UCS2-HW-H. It can be opened by Adobe Acrobat Reader v7 and v8 correctly. But the encoding was changed to UniJIS2004-UTF16-H when implementing JIS2004 support, user needs Adobe Acrobat Reader v9 to display characters in the PDF file.
