APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • db2cli registerdsn can not be used to register 32bit DSN
    when 64bit IBM Data server client or IBM Data Server Driver
    package is installed.
    

Local fix

  • User can launch odbcad32.exe and add DSN entry manually.
    

Problem summary

  • Users are not able to create 32 bit system dsn from command line
    (db2cli registerdsn) when 64 bit DB2 windows client or driver
    packages are installed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in V9.7 fp4
