Error description

• //DD:SYS00058: fflush() failed - EDC5024I An attempt was made to
  close a file that had been opened on another thread. errno=24
  when transferring to a multi-volume dataset on z/OS.
  

Local fix

• None other than to return to standard FTP techniques.
  

Problem summary

• The following error was seen as a reason for a
  transfer to a multi-volume data set failing:
  
  //DD:SYS00634: fflush() failed - EDC5024I An attempt was made to
  close a file that had been opened on another thread. errno=24
  errno2=0xc0200011 last_op=0

Problem conclusion

• The handling of the flush request was changed to match the
  behaviour of the read and write tasks.
