Error description

  • WebSphere MQ .NET application running on Windows 2003 / 2008
terminates unexpectedly with an access violation in
amqxcs2.dll, often after a specific number of MQExceptions
have been caught. The NMQI class causing the exceptions seems
    irrelevant.

A Microsoft Windows dialog box appears with the following
    problem signature:

    and interfaces.

    Platforms affected:
    Windows

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
WebSphere MQ .Net code uses exceptions and try-catch blocks to
report errors and process errors. In some cases where an
exception was caught trace buffer space previously acquired was
not correctly released. After a series of exceptions trace data
overflows the buffer usually resulting in an access violation.

Problem conclusion

  • Code was checked and modified to correct all of the instances
of the problem that were found. However, it is possible that
    other instances still remain.
