Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users who migrate the broker from WebSphere MQ v6 to v7 and
those who have deleted user accounts without removing the
    respective OAM entries.

    Platforms affected:
All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows)
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
When the strmqbrk command is run on WebSphere MQ v7, it attempts
to migrate the broker including all authorities provided on
broker objects. While doing so, it was found that an object had
authorities set for a particular user but the user did not
exist. In such a situation, the migration should continue for
other authorities on the same object. However, the migration
itself terminated upon receipt of this error.

Problem conclusion

  • The code was modified so as to report an error when a user was
missing and continue with the migration instead of aborting the
    migration.
