Error description

  • When a PCF application is connected to a single queue manager to
    monitor it, the PCF application retrieves the correct
    information from the queue manager. However, in a multi threaded
    environment, when PCF applications are used to monitor more than
    one queue manager the information retrieved from the queue
    managers is incorrect.

    USERS AFFECTED:
    This issue affects customers using Websphere MQ V7 classes for
    PCF to connect to queue managers in a multi threaded environment
    
    Platforms affected:
    All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows) +Java
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    When using the PCF API in a multi threaded environment to
    connect to two different queue managers, the right information
    is not
    retrieved. The reason being each of threads modify JVM wide
    properties and affect the working of the other threads.
    

Problem conclusion

  • To resolve the issue, JVM wide properties are not used any more.
