Error description

  • A WebSphere MQ ActiveX application on Windows puts a message
to a remote/transmission queue to be sent to a z/OS local
    queue.

    Windows WMQ 7.0.1.1 ------ --- > z/OS WMQ 7.0.1.0
    (CCSID 437) (CCSID 500)
NOTE: Sender is configured for conversion

The message has been modified to replace the ' (single
    quote) character with NULLs:

    DATA```````````````000
    now
DATA 000 (the spaces are actually number X'00)

When a 495 byte messages is sent to z/OS, only
approximately 70 bytes of the message data is received on the
local queue. However, the same application, when executed with
the WebSphere MQ V6 mqax200.dll, does not truncate the message.
