Error description
The IBM WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition Information Center states that If you are running a console install on Linux, unset the DISPLAY environment variable before you install. However, it should state if you are running a console install on any UNIX OS unset the DISPLAY environment variable before you begin the install process.

Problem summary
The console install section of the online information center stated that for a console install the DISPLAY environment variable should be unset for Linux only. This actually applies to all UNIX platforms, not just Linux.
