Error description

  • The problem is that when screen is being reversed, HATS changes
the layout of the whole page, including scroll bars, position of
keypad. When only terminal itself is reversed, application
works quite natively and according to user expectation, but
movement of the scroll bar causes problems for end users.

When reversing host screen the browser session reverses
the scrollbar to opposite side of session.

Problem conclusion

  • A new property, "enableBrowserGUIMirroring", was added to
    com.ibm.hats.common.RuntimeSettings section of the
appication.hap. Setting the value of this new property to
false stops the mirroring of the browser GUI when the user
    reverses the emulation screen.
